I’m Mohammad, a senior software engineer and technical lead based in Dubai. For more than nine years I have built and run software that businesses depend on every day: an emergency-response platform at Siemens, a kids’ streaming service at SpaceToonGo, and a multi-tenant real estate platform at Propwise.
I own systems from the architecture decision to production: CI/CD, monitoring and on-call. I care about the boring things that keep them up: data that stays separate, jobs that never get silently dropped, payments that reconcile, and pages that load fast on a phone.
Today more of that work runs through an LLM layer: agents, RAG and tool calling. I hold it to the same standard as everything else. I work in Arabic and English, and I know the Gulf market: its payment providers, its property portals and how its users actually behave.
Alongside a main role, I take on a small number of contract projects. We start with a short call, then I send a written plan with scope, timeline and cost before any work begins.
